Switching back Window

September 25, 2026 · tags:

I switched back to using Window for a few weeks. I had no choice at that time and installed back Window in order to use SEB for my exam. I tried many tweaks to enable the SEB on Linux ( it does not support Linux or opensource OS). However the convenience and accessability of Window still is tempting me till today.

The first thing I notice is the availability of everthing. I dont have to install sound manager to adjust volume, stable bluetooth, consistent monitor driver… Window is well supported and not suprise it is the most common OS in the wold.

The second thing, regarding my workflow, it kinda drift away from the keyboard-centric style like before. Actually, I tried the buggy and bloatty Glaze Window Manager. Dont want to comeback again, and right now I just use the normal set up in Window. This is not really bother me much.

I think this just the trade offs. I wont really care about my computer, config my workflow, worry about compatibility. I just use it and leave room for other important tasks. If I have more time in the future, dual boot Arch-based Distro would be a nice experience. Lets see, now lets get sort out my work first. Focus, stay strong!
